Yoona Hur collaborated with a New York luxury fashion brand, Lafayette148 and the creative director Emily Smith on exclusive collection of handcrafted ceramic pendants. For their Pre-Fall’25 Unearthing Beauty, they came together to celebrate the craftsmanship, materiality and feminine forms found both in fashion and ceramics. At L148’s Upper East Side boutique, the artist is showcasing a number of larger ceramics pieces: Amphoras, Moonjars, Plinths and “Portal Into The Infinite” Series, a suspended ceramic disc which was conceived during her creation of the pendants. This spatial work behind the glass reflects and temporarily holds the ever-shifting movement of Madison Ave. The 10 unique hand-built works in addition to the pendants are on view from May until end of July, ‘25.
